NCC Chooses LeBreton Redevelopment Partner

It looks like the Ottawa Senators could soon be building a new arena in LeBreton Flats after their bid was named as the top choice by the NCC. Their decision ends months of speculation as to who would be responsible for the massive undertaking that is sure to change the face of Ottawa. The Sens-backed RendezVous LeBreton Group managed to sway the five-member selection committee with a proposal that includes five distinct neighbourhoods centred around a major events centre.
